Introduction to Classical Ciphers¶
In classical cryptography, we mainly cover monoalphabetic substitution ciphers, polyalphabetic substitution ciphers, and some other interesting ciphers.
It is worth noting that in classical cryptography, designers primarily considered the confidentiality of messages, ensuring that only those with the relevant key could decrypt the ciphertext to obtain the message content. Not much consideration was given to message integrity and non-repudiation.
